Camcorder Options … JVC GR-D850 with built-in light vs Sony Dcr-HC62 or 52 with NightShot without light?
I'm trying to decide between several video cameras. My main goal, in addition to general purpose is to record my pets, often indoors in low light room. I have it to the JVC GR-D850 or Sony Handycam DCR-HC62 or 52. The JVC seems to be little better quality as online surveys, and a built in light – ideal for those hiding under the bed – fire, while the Handycams have no light, but have Nightshot infrared feature. I am thinking of built-in light is better, as it will most natural shots in the dark spots (if bright enough?) But then, you can always spend more money and get a bonus of the light assembly on the Sony, and still have infrared capability that looks cool (but is it really useful?). In short, I'm confused and not sure how to decide this …
