What is the difference between a fire and a wire transfer cable?
I have had many problems with my Sony Dcr HC26 sony Video Camera that I bought few years ago. After recording and filming of many events that I have several tapes that have not yet made its way into my computer for me to edit them. Will problem? This camcorder comes with no software (that I know) and without wires. I tried normal firewires USBs but my laptop and do not recognize anything. Finally searched on other websites, many people had the same problem and suggested that the cable Sony Vmc IL4615 i. link. After researching and finding that two similar on ebay. A costs only $ 2, but called it firewire and the other (which is 20) is a cable. What is the differnce between the two? Anyone with this horrible problem the same with his Sony camcorder. I just want to use my SonyVegas and edit! Thanks in advance.
You to get other things. What you need is a regular Firewire cable and a firewire port on your PC faster with XP OS. U have Studio Vegas. Thats a good software.
